In order to safeguard the group exemption granted to Omicron Delta Epsilon, Inc., under Section 501 (C) of the IRS Code, all chapters have to agree that they are affiliated with and under the control of Omicron Delta Epsilon, Inc.  According to the group exemption, all chapters are eligible for tax exemption under Section 501(C).

May 15, 2019Graduate Student Invited Paper Session

In January 2020, Omicron Delta Epsilon and the American Economic Association will jointly be hosting a Graduate Student Invited Paper Session at the ASSA meeting in San Diego. Work  chosen for the session will automatically be entered into the Irving Fisher Graduate Article competition.

To submit, apply online or by mail along with a brief abstract of your paper by May 15 , 2019.  Decisions on papers and discussants will be made by June 15, 2019. For more information click here.

April 30, 2019 - Fall 2019 Chapter project Grants

Funds are available, up to $1,000, to support special projects of active chapters.Priority will be given to proposals where the chapter actively seeks outside matching funding and where multiple chapters are involved. Matching funds may come from students, the institution, or outside sources. The maximum grant is $500 for chapters without matching funds.  For more information click here.
